Kstar Showcases Latest 1500V PV Inverters at Green Energy Expo 2021
Exhibition News, 2021.5.7
Kstar, the global leading inverter solution supplier, showcased the company's most popular 1000V and 1500V inverter solutions at the Green Energy Expo held from April 28th to 30th. It has also displayed perfect photovoltaic inverter integrated solution systems and appealed many visitors to its booth.
The International Green Energy Expo is the largest Asia leading PV & Renewable Energy exhibition. Despite the Covid-19 outbreak, 223 companies from 16 countries participated to display the latest technologies and solutions at the exhibition site. As one of the top 10 solar inverter brands, Kstar introduces its latest solar innovations at the expo, including the three-phase KSG series.
KSTAR's KSG -110SL -KR 110kW inverter, approved by KS certification, is a 110kW DC string inverter suitable for distributed commercial PV systems and large centralized PV power plants. This solar inverter has a 20cm gap between the output terminal block and the cable ground for convenient construction. It is designed by selecting a 60 pi class cable ground for easy cable connection in consideration of the voltage drop rate, and can reduce construction costs.
The KSG-250UH photovoltaic inverter is a three-phase inverter with a maximum DC voltage of 1500V. It is widely used in large-scale applications. The transformer-free 250 kW inverter offers a reported efficiency of 99%, for a European rating of 98.5% and has 12 maximum power point tracking (MPPT) channels and 24 string inputs. MPPT voltage ranges from 600 V to 1,500 V. The inverter has an ambient operating temperature ranging from -25 C to 60 C.
South Korea’s PV industry has seen a fast development with more government efforts being poured into the sector. In 2020, South Korea recorded a 4.1GW PV capacity increase, and the country's solar energy projects drew in about US$3.6 billion of investment, which is 71% more than the previous year. With the industry trends, Kstar has been increasing efforts to expand its share in Korea market and help the country to reach the renewable target.
"We will continue to enhance the development of cutting-edge products and services in the market," said Mr. King, the sales manager of Kstar Korea office.
