Kstar releases 100 kW/125kW High Power Density UPS Power Module

Kstar, a leading uninterruptible power supply (UPS) supplier, has officially released the 100 kW /125 kW high-density UPS power module in 3U height on the 3rd of March, 2023, in response to the growing demand for highly-efficient and sustainable data centers.

The new power module, designed by Kstar power experts, delivers the positive benefits of a classic modular UPS system, including flexibility, safety and reliability while optimizing energy use, floor space and investment within a data center by packing 100kVA in 3U height. Key features of the new products include:

Energy-Saving
The product adopts new-generation IGBT technology, high-efficiency circuit topology and cooling technology to achieve 97.1% efficiency in online mode and 99% in HECO mode. The improvement in efficiency ensures significant energy & cost savings.

Space-Saving
Compared with the traditional 50kW/3U module, only six power modules are needed to configure a 600Kva modular UPS system instead of 12 power modules, which can save 22% of the floor space.

Simplified O&M
The product comes with simplified deployment and O&M. It is compatible with lead-acid or lithium batteries and can be charged to 100% in just one hour. All component supports hot-swappable to achieve zero maintenance time. In addition, the device can be monitored and managed in real time with a visual management system, ensuring easy O&M.
