Kstar maintains No.1 in the Chinese UPS battery market

Chinese VRLA battery maker Shenzhen Kstar Science & Technology Co., Ltd. was the biggest native supplier of UPS batteries in 2020, the largest market research firm in China, ICT research, said Thursday.
Holding an overall share of 13.8%, the company's shipments of the UPS battery segment reached RMB 211 million during the 12 month period despite the changing landscape brought on by the pandemic, said the report. The largest share of the market growth came from the finance, telecom, government, education, and transportation industry.
Chinas new infrastructure construction plan is propelling the demand for UPS. As a key component of an uninterruptible power supply, the booming of UPS adoption stimulates the scope of UPS batteries. Last year, the overall size of the Chinese UPS battery market reached 1.5 billion with a growth rate of -1.8%.

It is predicted that the partnership will help strengthen Kstars market leadership in the Chinese UPS battery sectors.
